Amy Roe was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio in the charming suburb of Pleasant Ridge. She now resides with her husband, three kids and a dog in beautiful Terrace Park, where they have lived since 2011. Amy attended Ursuline Academy, where she is still and active alum, and she went onto earn her marketing degree from Miami University. She started her career as an employee benefits sales representative, selling insurance for MetLife. After about 9 years, she made the leap into real estate. She was licensed in 2010 and has earned top Circle of Excellence designations for over 10 years. Amy decided to partner with Shelley Reed in 2014 and together they have earned top agent recognition each year since. They continue to be the top agents in their neighborhoods and Mariemont School District.
Amy has absolutely loved her growing career in real estate. From owning rentals, buying bank owned properties, renovating and selling multiple homes, to staging and designing spaces to sell, working with contractors, and helping buyers compete and understanding contract terms inside and out,… there are so many aspects in this field in which she has a high level of experience.
The love of the business for Amy comes from her desire to help and educate people. Buying and selling homes typically deals with a person’s largest asset, and the process can be cumbersome and complicated. Amy prides herself in being able to guide and help clients to be able to achieve the best results in the end.
Her why? Amy works hard because it’s in her blood. Her grandfather Gordon owned his own real estate brokerage in the 1960s, and he was responsible for helping Xavier University expand its campus in those earlier years. Amy loves her family most of all and setting an example of hard work, perseverance, and creating valued relationships are important to Amy.
She is active in Terrace Park Elementary, St Thomas Nursery School, and her family are parishioners at St. Andrew in Milford, as well as, St Mary in Hyde Park. Amy believes in getting involved, saying “yes” and helping those in need whenever she is able. Being able to give back to several organizations each year is of extreme importance, as well.
Amy was attentive, easy to get ahold of, honest, knowledgeable and patient through the whole process. She was able to simplify everything for us and make, what felt like a daunting task, much simpler.
